Enrolling in a pregnancy exposure registry can help improve safety information for medicines used during pregnancy and can be used to update drug labeling. We've made some improvements! Pregnant Women, health Professionals, find a Registry, medicine and Pregnancy.

Illinois Womens Health Registry, posted in, community Partners, Research Interests. It would be great to have a large number of Illinois women included in this database so that we can increase our understanding of how disease/illness affects women.

 For investigators, we facilitate the recruitment of women for approved studies. The Registry is a great resource for women who want to improve their health by becoming more aware of their health issues and wellness and it provides a great way for women to gain access to groundbreaking research studies and clinical trials.

Some women take medicines for health problems, like diabetes or high blood pressure, that can start or get worse when a woman is pregnant.

Registrants complete a health survey so they can be matched based on their profile to on-going studies at Northwestern and other academic institutions.

On Monday, May 10, Sarah Bristol-Gould, PhD, Director of Research Programs for the Institute for Womens Health Research at Northwestern University gave a presentation on the Illinois Womens Health Registry. .
